My Room is Cleaned!

Some say it could never be done. But here I am, the miracle worker, once again proving otherwise.

Behold, my minions, followers, and bitches, I have CLEANED MY LAIR!

I have not deep cleaned it since rescuing Star. So, over a year I have had a messy room. This is what depression does to you. It's not that I want to live this way, I just can't get myself to clean, just as I can't get myself to eat. Depression is awful...

But, for all of this week I made myself tackle small portions of the room each day. First, cleaning the clothes off the futon and putting boxes into recycling. Then organize my 700 comics and put into binders. Then organize all my paperwork into the filing boxes, then organize pet supplies, etc. And I kept at it until I finally finished.

Is it perfect? No. There's still some boxes and other items needing to be taken care of, but... I figure I'll take care of that when I move this summer. For now... I am actually happy with my lair. I have clothes put away, comics organized, papers in files, a dusted and mopped room, the futon is visible, it's good. This is good.

And I have room on my desk for drawing!

I like where it is. And I got a mattress and pillow protector, too. The cats have been enjoying the futon being clear of stuff. Now... To fill it with foster kittens! :D

This also means it's time to write!
