***IDW G1 Transformers comics spoiler*** You know, if the execution in this fanart is how Megs was killed, that's a quick death. And he wouldn't be able to cry out in pain because it would be so fast. So, no pain. Just one moment there, next gone. So, the fanart is overly dramatic. I know death. I've had two daughters die in my arms and seen a hundred different kinds of deaths done to thousand before as an activist. That's the kind of death one would want if they can't go in their sleep. And I doubt he was even scared. If anything, relieved because he finally feels like he can relax. He knows what he did was incredibly wrong and he earned this, and he won't ever have to live in fear of someone killing him ruthlessly, and by the time he's executed he know Soundwave is dead so probably looks forward to being with him since they were friends. And everyone else he cared for that died like Terminus. So, the dramatization of the art piece just is overkill. Still angry about Starscream's unnecessary demise. That was so forced and stupid... They better make a live action series of these comics and fix that and other mistakes and make it the true canon storyline with all the writers coming back. Or else I will kill.
