Starscream's Creation

So, interesting fact about the creation of the greatest Decepticon.

There's a reason why Starscream is so feminine and gay as fuck. The original creator of Transformers had put gender in the robot species back when the toy line was being created. Hasbro wanted this toy line to be for boys, with it being robots fighting, machines, etc. So, they told the guy who was creating these character "no girls!"

Due to that, the creator had to change all his female robot characters into boys. And one of those females was Starscream, who he had nicknamed "Pretty Poison." Another female character was Ratchet.

While Ratchet's personality was changed to be that of a grouchy, old man, Starscream's personality was not. So, he stayed a feminine female trapped in a male's body, sort-of-speak.

So, we have Hasbro's sexism to thank for giving us one of the greatest, sexiest, sassiest, most brilliant, super gay characters to ever exist. Their sexism created a gay! XD

And now as the Cybertronian species has been expanded on, science thrown in, and made into a believable/realistic species, they have ALL been turned "gay." But as far as how they act, Starscream remains the most fabulously gay of them all.

Thank you Hasbro for being so sexist in the 80's. You ended up shooting yourself in the foot with that move only to have it end up being the greatest gift to humanity, and in turn making you rich. Such a turn around.
