Starscream Theory

So, in All Hail Megatron, Megatron tells Starscream that he will lead the Decepticons. That it is his destiny to rule and he will rule after "crushing Megatron beneath his heal." And Megatron tells Starscream that the Decepticons will one day be Starscream's.

When Megatron was seriously injured at the end of All Hail Megatron Starscream took over the Decepticons but no one listened to him. They were all hoping and waiting for Megatron to return, save them, and lead them. So they ignored Starscream and it ended up hurting the Decepticons so much that they were cannibalizing each other in order to survive.

And when Megatron is all healed and comes back in Spotlight: Megatron, he beats the shit out of Starscream and takes over.

At the end of the first ongoing series, Megatron disappears and the Decepticons lose. Starscream tries to lead them again, but they bitch and yell at him and instead follow Ratbat. Senator Ratbat is killed, they follow Soundwave instead. Then Megatron returns and they all flock to him. But, then Megatron becomes an Autobot and leaves with the Lost Light and the Decepticons are hurt and hate him.

Before Megatron's control Starscream denounces being a Decepticon in order to try and reunite the Decepticons, Autobots, and neutrals to bring peace and be their elected leader. It works and he becomes supreme ruler of Cybertron.

During Megatron's trial, Starscream DOES crush Megatron, but it's with his most powerful weapon: His words. He destroys Megatron and really took a hit at his abuser.

Later, after Starscream is arrested and loses his leadership, Cybertron is in chaos from Shockwave attacking and the return of some Primes fucking things over. Optimus is out of the game, and Windblade is not knowledgeable in war nor has the leadership skills/experience that Starscream has.

The Decepticons were betrayed by Megatron and now Soundwave, and want Starscream back to lead them as they were shown in the newest issue.

SO! If Starscream accepts and DOES lead the Decepticons now since they FINALLY are willing to follow him, what Megatron said is true. Starscream WILL lead the Decepticons because he IS the fiercest and smartest of them, and he will do it AFTER crushing Megatron. After proving himself the rightful leader.

And if Starscream can get all the Decepticons on his side, he will get neutrals on his side, and with more people on his side he will be able to become the leader of Cybertron again if the people want him despite his crimes.

So... There's still hope of him ruling as he rightfully deserves! Especially if he saves everyone from Shockwave's attack, proving that he's not the monster, but a hero who has done bad things for the greater good.

TL;DR, Starscream is fabulous and should be leader because of those hips and sexy smirk.
