So, the newest and final arc for The Wreckers is like... Fucking sad. I mean, the others are just hard to read with everyone dying in "pointless, stupid ways," as a famous quote from "Last Stand of The Wreckers" goes. And immensely gorey and all that lovely stuff Nick Roche is so good at not only drawing but writing about. But, in this graphic novel Roche did some changes. Sad changes.

I mean, I had hoped Overlord would had died in a far more painful manner, err, is he truly dead or...? I won't think about it. He couldn't come back from that so... But still.... How does a spark even work like that?

Anyway, Verity was great as usual. She's seriously the only human character in any Transformers universe that is a decent character and worth seeing. And her relationship with Springer has become more like siblings than just best friends.

I mean, I'm not entirely satisfied with the ending. But, I kind of hope nothing cliche or whatever comes out of what Springer is now doing. And with how Habsro wants a reboot or whatever, it concerns me that maybe this is the cause of the reboot..? I am not sure. Maybe Springer will only change The Wreckers and not all of the war. Then again, Megatron was the cause of everything, and if he's trying to stop the war from ever happening, that's where he would be going... But not to destroy Megatron I don't think seeing how in the Functionist Universe shows what an absence of Megatron would be.

IDK. It was interesting. Nick Roche should write more than just The Wreckers arcs. At least he's also lending his gorey art to the Optimus Prime arc.

Anyway, it's a graphic novel that requires tissues. So, be warned if you read it. Anything involving Nick Roche writing about The wreckers does. Damn you!

Here is a panel from "Requiem of The Wreckers" of Springer hugging Verity. Everyone needs a gay robot hug! 😭
